The Arab countries and peoples are much more divided than they are, and it is unacceptable to continue the current situation, which has turned the Arab region into the arena of international and regional conflicts, sectarian and sectarian conflicts and sanctuaries of terrorist organizations that threaten the security, stability and development of the Arab countries.
The Arab leaders stressed in the declaration that national and Arab reconciliation is the necessary starting point for enhancing the immunity, security and stability of the Arab region and immunizing it against external interference.

The importance of the Palestinian cause in Arab action and the determination to continue efforts to relaunch serious and effective negotiations within a specific timetable that would help achieve a just and comprehensive peace settlement were emphasized.

The Declaration referred to the continued provision of all forms of political, moral and material support to the Palestinian people and their legitimate national leadership, and the Palestine Liberation Organization, the sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people. He called on the international community to continue to support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) and to secure the necessary resources and financial contributions to its budget and activities in order to enable it to continue to provide basic services to Palestine refugees.

He stressed the rejection of all unilateral steps taken by Israel, as the occupying power, to change the legal and historical situation in East Jerusalem, particularly in the Islamic and Christian holy sites in the Holy City. He called on the world to not recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and not to transfer its embassies to it.

He also highlighted the Arab countries’ keenness on Libya’s unity and sovereignty, rejecting military solutions and all forms of interference in its internal affairs, and calling for accelerating the achievement of a comprehensive political settlement within the framework of consensus and dialogue without exclusion.

Renewed concern for the need to reach a political settlement to end the crisis in Syria, ending the suffering of the brotherly Syrian people and achieve their aspirations to live in security and peace, and maintain the unity of Syria and sovereignty and independence with the rejection of military options.

It was stressed that the Golan is occupied Syrian territory, while rejecting attempts to impose a de facto policy and to establish Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan, and to emphasize that any decision or action aimed at changing the legal and demographic status of the Golan is illegal and illegal and has no legal effect.

The “Tunis Declaration” called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to reduce the tragedy of displacement and asylum and to put all available means to find radical and effective solutions and to intensify collective international efforts to promote the conditions for the return of displaced persons and refugees.

He also declared support for regional and international efforts to restore legitimacy to Yemen and put an end to the suffering of the Yemeni people and to stress the need for the Houthi militias to abide by the truce agreement, cease fire, implement the Stockholm Agreement and continue negotiations for a political settlement. He also praised Iraq’s successes in defeating terrorist organizations, stressing the unity of its territorial integrity and supporting its efforts in the reconstruction of liberated areas.
It was emphasized that the relations of cooperation between the Arab countries and the Islamic Republic of Iran are based on the principle of good neighborliness, non-interference in internal affairs, the non-use or threat of force in accordance with the rules of international law and the abstention from practices and actions that undermine confidence-building and threaten security and stability in the region.

The targeting of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its cities with ballistic missiles was condemned and the absolute sovereignty of the United Arab Emirates over its three islands (Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa) was confirmed with all the peaceful measures and means it was taking to restore its sovereignty.

He called on Iran to respond to the initiative of the United Arab Emirates to find a peaceful solution to this issue through direct negotiations or recourse to the International Court of Justice. He highlighted the full solidarity with the Sudanese Government in its efforts to promote peace and development, safeguard national sovereignty and implement the outputs of the national dialogue. He also stressed the central importance of comprehensive development in promoting the conditions of the region, immunizing Arab societies against the scourge of extremism and terrorism, and reducing the manifestations of exclusion and marginalization
